Howdy,
You find yourself on my little corner of the internet where I like to yap away the day, talking about films, movies, cinema, and the big black screen. I’m a (not-so) recent film graduate from sunny Falmouth University, and it was there that I really found my love for film. As a life-long introvert, I knew that I wasn’t all that interested in being on set. I tried a few times, but found that I naturally gravitated towards the writing and editing modules. Combining the need to be locked away in a room by myself for hours on end, and my love for creating a prolific piece of art from a few scraps of ideas, I knew that this was what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.
So, here we are, I’m a twenty-something girlie-pop struggling in the world of retail, with an arts degree, wanting to write for a living, and hereby this blog was created. I wanted a space where I could share my unhinged, and hopefully, coherent ramblings about the most recent film I have just watched, shoutout to my Cineworld unlimited card, and the occasional fictional character (or hot actor (cough, cough, Joe Keery)) that I’m currently obsessed with.
I feel the best way to get a grasp on someone is to ask them for their Letterboxd top 4, perhaps the most crucial listing of all time, and it very much determines whether you shall get along with said person. For example, if they have The Muppets (2011), you for sure know that you can trust this person with your entire life, and maybe pass down your life-long inheritance, excluding your whole family after you pass. Henceforth, I am here to shed light on my own Letterboxd top 4. Please DO judge my sense of character; I feel as though my carefully curated choices reflect deeply not only on my character but also on my soul.

Little Women (2019), Little Shop of Horrors (1986), Back to the Future (1985), IT (2017)
Honourable mentions are:
La La Land (2019), Interstellar (2014), Get Out (2017), The Fabelmans (2022), 28 Days Later (2002), The Lost Boys (1987)
We shall be going into these choices at a later date; however, please note, I don’t like confrontation, so if you do not agree, I would rather you did NOT tell me, because I fear I shall cry x
Love, Lily.
